RE: NEW MARKETING PROCESS AND PLAN!

Hello from the Marketing Team!

The Marketing Team has been hard at work creating a streamlined process in order to increase the effectiveness of our marketing promotional efforts. Marjorie Gonzalez, Marketing & PR Manager, has been visiting all library locations to introduce these new plans. Below is a very short synopsis on our new upcoming marketing processes and plans. Details will be provided on the Communications intranet web page the first week in August.

The 1st phase of our new plan begins TODAY, Monday, August 1, 2016.

New Marketing Processes

Use New Marketing Request form to submit for a new project.
All communications for marketing requests are now through Communications -hpl.communications@houstontx.gov
Use the Reprint/Outreach Request form for standard reprint and outreach material requests.
Use the Marketing Equipment Rental to request any equipment (i.e.: banners, tablecloths)

View the Marketing Plan presentation to review the plan and process in it's entirety.

Review Marketing Packet timelines for submitting new project requests.

Neighborhood Library & Special Collections Marketing Tools

Starting November 1, 2016, the Marketing Team will promote 3 events per month for each library with the below marketing tools. Each library MUST input their events 3-months in advance in the online events module. We will follow a strict TIMELINE in order to make this process as smooth as possible. For the first run in November, we are extending the deadline to August 19.
