Closures for a Special Event
Houston Children's Festival is this weekend from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, and Sunday, April 5, 2009. The street closures begin Friday evening and will be as follows:
1.From 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 3, to 3:00 a.m. on Monday, April6, 2009 the following will be closed:
Walker between Smith and Bagby;
Bagby northbound between Dallas and Rusk;
Bagby southbound between Walker and Dallas;
Lamar between Smith and Bagby;
Allen Parkway (outbound) between Bagby and I-45;
Allen Parkway (inbound) between Clay and Bagby;
Walker turnaround to McKinney;
Brazos at Dallas except for parking for the Library and the Heritage
Plaza Building.
2. From 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 3, to 3:00 a.m. Monday, April 6 the southbound McKinney exit ramp from North Freeway (I-45) will be closed.
