Greetings!
Due to the painting project starting tomorrow night, unless you have an assigned parking spot, you will not be able to park in the garage on Fridays for the rest of this month and probably most of January.
If you have any questions or concerns, please email me.
Thanks,

The Jones Garage Art Project begins tomorrow and will be done over the next six weeks. We are very excited about the mural being painted on the perimeter walls of the garage. It is a collaboration between Houston Public Library, The Houston Arts Alliance, and CKC StART Street and Urban Arts. Please review the attached schedule for more information.
During this time, only staff members with assigned spaces in the Jones Garage, volunteers, or those with prior approval from FIDS will be allowed entry into the garage. Due to the nature of this project, staff, volunteers, and visitors parking in the garage should park in the center of the garage, avoiding the end of each row and all perimeter walls. Also attached is a "You Can Reach Me" sign for the dashboard of your vehicle if you plan to park in the garage during the weekends of this project. This sign will allow us to contact you in case we need you to move your vehicle while the artists are working.
Staff members that park on the loading dock will not be affected. Staff working on Saturdays or Sundays should park and have their tickets validated as usual.
As the project progresses, it may be necessary to make changes to access. Please be prepared to follow the instructions of Security in those situations. Updates will be provided as they are available. Please call or email me if you have any questions. Thank you in advance for your cooperation as this project is completed.
Kindest regards,
Belinda J. Cox
