No Access Before 10 for the Public

This morning an outside group attempted to enter the building before 10 am because their meeting started at 10 am.

No outside group can enter the building prior to 10am without special permission from the Directors office and/or Chief of Central Services. As of this time there are only two groups that I am aware of that has been granted this permission. The groups are other city departments and the Gulf Coast Regional Blood center. City departments have to request the permission at least a week in advance prior to the meeting and still must get the approval in writing from the Director’s office.

All other outside groups meeting are aware of the opening and closing times of the facility.
