Central and HMRC Staff:
As part of the process to get inspection approvals to reopen JIB, we need to test the emergency power at JIB tomorrow (Friday) at 1:00pm.
For people in the Jones building, you may see the lights flicker, but you should not experience any shutdowns, surges, or loss of power.
For people in the Julia Ideson Building, lights will go down and the emergency lights will come on. Power will go down. People in JIB should shut down computers and sensitive equipment before 1:00pm when this happens. Power will remain off for approximately 30 minutes, and then gradually be brought back up.
