Customers do *not* need to show ID in order to get a guest pass.
When you issue a guest pass, inform the customer that it is good for one day. You could even call it a day pass if you want.
A guest pass is also a good solution for customers who have expired
computer use cards or who don't know the PIN on their computer use card.
They can still hang on to the card itself, and renew it at any other
library locations that don't have the new reservation system yet, which
is everywhere but Central right now.
