to Houston for HPL’s ! She is the author of Mama, Waiting to Exhale, A Day Late and a Dollar Short, The Interruption of Everything, How Stella Got Her Groove Back, Getting to Happy, Disappearing Acts, and Who Asked You?
The event will take place at the Alley Theater, but the
demand for tickets is so high – over 500 people on a waiting list –, that HPL
has decided to broadcast the presentation at a few library locations. Central
Library will definitely will one of those locations and we need to
volunteers to assist with the program.
Sondee Weiss, Jessica Stanley and Jon Copper have
volunteered to assist with the program, and I will be here as well; however, we
need at least three more volunteers to assist at Central Library.

February 6 – Central Program Place

Times: 6:45 to 9:30 pm (The program
is from 7 to 9 pm)
Most likely refreshments will be served
Talk to your supervisor for approval and to figure out your
time. You may come in later on that day or take off the 2
hours & 45 minutes later in the week.
