April - June Schedule & Sundays

Quick heads up

We are working on the schedules for the next quarter (April – June). Please look at your calendars and submit any 206s you may need for floating holidays, Wellness, personal days, and especially vacation time. (FYI the general guideline for our department is no more than five staff members scheduled off per day)

A DRAFT of the monthly calendars is up so we can easily see how the weekends are shaping up, which leads to the next point SUNDAYS. Please keep in mind it is not mandatory to work Sunday it is overtime. LST staff does get first priority when it comes to Sunday shifts.

Please e-mail me with your Sunday requests. You may request specific dates, by your Saturday (either schedule with your Saturday or opposite), or you can request to work all Sundays. We will be opening up the Sunday schedule to other departments on March 1. With your request please also include if you are willing/want to be on the “On Call” list in case somebody does call in with your preferred contact information.

Just a couple of quick reminders about Sundays:
1. There is only one shift 1pm – 5pm (all people are expected to be at their assigned post at 1pm and not leave their last assigned post until 5pm)

2. Please report to work wearing your red HPL shirt

3. If you know in advance you can not make your shift PLEASE let me know in advance (if possible) So I can find you coverage (or if you know somebody that wants your shift… even better). The more notice you give the better. We do have a list of people who agreed to be on call for a Sunday Shift.

4. If a person should call in on a Sunday PLEASE be aware that it can only happen once. After your second call in, we will have to take you off the schedule for one year.
