We are in dire straits when it comes to our stat recording on the Laptop desk. I’d like to take a moment to remind you the importance of these stats as they directly affect our supply requests and all requests for staffing in the future. I know we’re busy over there, but we need to remember to record as many as possible to increase our chances at getting more staff in the future as this lets Administration know that we need help desperately. Without these numbers, we are more likely to have more duties on us with less staff, which is something we cannot afford.
I believe Sunday is our hardest hit day and therefore should be the day with the most stats, however each week we are recording nothing for Sunday and minimal stats for the rest of the week. If you get too busy, estimate how many people you served for each directional questions and reference questions so we can get our numbers up. As for Sundays, we need to start taking a more active role in reminding our visiting staff to fill out these forms so we can get them into the habit of good stat-keeping.
