Summer is here and that not only means its going to be 106 degrees this Saturday, but it also means we are a cooling center for people who are unable to escape the heat. This does not mean we add hours or additional services, but we will be hosting larger groups of people without access to air conditioning and water.
What it really means is we will have camera crews or news agencies making trips to the library to report on our cooling center services, including interviewing clientele. Keep in mind if you see a newsperson or a cameraperson, inform our communications liason Sandra Fernandez and/or Blanca Quezada prior to filming.
