When wrapping a hold, make sure the hold expiration date is accurate! This becomes a serious problem when you're doing a manual pull from the hold shelf and have to rewrap!
Also, when sending items out for holds, make sure tehre aren't noticible stains or warping of the item. If the item is damaged, replace the hold with another copy of the item.
