When we are assigned to check in, remember that title pages come first. If you feel someone is abusing the process by simply leaving their title page truck and running off, let us know, however our priority is the stats from the title pages.
Also, to make breaking down easier and our processes faster, remember to bring over a cart and conduct a presort while you're checking in. This may seem time consuming, however it makes all our jobs easier. The breakdown on the cart should be as follows:
1st row is first floor (fiction, adult WL, all AV, Large print)
2nd row should be comprised of 2nd and 3rd floor items.
3rd row should hold 4th and 5th floor items.
Be careful not to mix up the kids and adult AV materials as we have had some getting shelved in the wrong places.
Remember, feel free to ask if you're not certain of a procedure or policy.
