Resuming Overdue Notifications

Greetings,

HALAN will resume sending out overdue notices starting tonight. These include the following:

·         3 day predue

·         3 day overdue

·         14 day overdue

·         30 day bill notice

Notices were suppressed last month due to the hurricane. This will serve as a reminder to our customers so you will see an increase in phone calls and emails about overdue, returned and damaged items.

Please remind customers that:

·         Fines have been waived through November 27, 2017

·         Customers may return flood damaged items at an HPL location (that’s open)

·         Staff should already know the procedures (a prior email included this information) and customers shouldn’t be charged for these items
