Some of you may have noticed that we quietly turned on the "My Lists" feature in the live WebPAC a few days ago. It has been a long-anticipated feature by both staff and public alike. A few buttons and screens have changed in the catalog to match the new "My Lists" option.
Since creating a temporary list and the new "My Lists" feature are both performed by using the same button, the button's text when saving records has changed. The button now reads as "Save to My Book Cart" instead of "Save to My Checklist". To view your saved records, use the My Book Cart button.
The My Book Cart page text has also changed a little to explain the differences between the "View, Download and Email" saved records option and adding records to the more permanent "My Lists".
The catalog HELP screens will be updated very soon to provide detailed information about "My Lists". This info will be available under the HELP "Special Functions and Features" tab. A new tab will be added here for "My Lists".
Lists created using the "My Lists" feature will be accessible though 'My Library Account'. Through their account, customers can remove selected lists, remove records from a list, and export their list.
If you haven’t tried creating a list yet using "My Lists", give it a try and then take a look at the saved list in your library account.
